Title: Enable PPP connection on boot

You would like that your ADSL flat connection gets connected as the pc
boots up. Me too!
The old version of PPP used the file /etc/ppp/ppp_on_boot to start ppp
at boot time. If you run with a recent version you'll get the
following message:
***********************************************************************
* /etc/ppp/ppp_on_boot is deprecated. Please configure your system to
* use the standard /etc/network/interfaces method.
* You can consult /usr/share/doc/ppp/README.Debian.gz and interfaces(5)
* for details.
*
* This message has been printed by /etc/init.d/ppp .
***********************************************************************
This is only a warning message: your connection is up. The odd thing
is that wait some seconds displaying the message during boot, wasting
precious time... So, what to do now?
Unbelievable, it's all written in the doc file above: you have to add
similar lines in the file /etc/network/interfaces
auto adsl
iface adsl inet ppp
provider dsl-provider
and automagically, your ppp connection will be taken up during
boot. The file /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider has to correctly
configured, but you should have already done this, because otherwise
you'll no get connected even before!
